MacHaven is exactly that, A haven. I miss the birds chirping in the morning followed by the knock of breakfast with the sun coming into the room. I'm a journalist and its was the most amazing bnb i have been too this far, there's peace, birds singing and i did my work in peace with no noise. Staying here was amazing, the staff was very friendly, the hospitality , service and the room was very neat white everywhere. May I add that it smelled good, very affordable too thank you I am a happy guest.

What a lovely guesthouse! Joy and her staff were super hospitable, helpful and went the extra mile to make us comfortable. Our quiet suite was relaxing and pretty, set in a lovely garden. Breakfast was delicious and quick, served just how we like it. Secure parking and MacHaven's outstanding location suited us well. Excellent value for money and a haven for us weary travelers.

Absolutely fantastic! Joy was so welcoming and the staff was also friendly and helpful. Our stat was wonderful accompanied by good breakfast. We also loved our room, how spacious it was. The accommodation is situated in a good area. It's a lovely place.

Clean and comfortable. I stayed in MacHaven during Christmas and loved the hospitality provided by Ntombi. The room was clean and comfortable. The B&B is situated in Ferndale, which was close to many attractions like Emmerentia Dam and Joburg Botanical Gardens.
